About Bianka Fucsko

Bianka Fucsko began her dance training at the National Theatre Ballet School in Melbourne, Australia. After accepting a position at the L’Academie de Danse Princesse Grace de Monaco, Bianka continued her dance training under the direction of Marika Bessobrasova, later Luca Masala.

Bianka was the recipient of a scholarship to study at the ballet school of the prestigious Vienna State Opera where she completed her dance training.

In 2010 Bianka began her professional dance career at the Aalto Ballett Theater Essen, Germany. Since then she has danced in companies such as the Finnish National Ballet, State Street Ballet Santa Barbara, Opera Australia, Ballet Dortmund, the Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen, Ballet Magdeburg, Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Tivoli Ballet Theater Copenhagen. She has worked with international choreographers and teachers and danced in over 30 professional productions, including "Swan Lake" (Greve), "The Nutcracker" (Toer Van Schayk / Eagling), "Manon" (Cranko), "Romeo & Juliet" (MacMillan), "La Sylphide" (Schaufuss) and in 2018 in the musical FALCO - The Musical. Her latest stage role was performing as a Transylvanian in Theater Senftenberg’s summer production „Rocky Horror Show“, where she was able to use not only her dancing but also singing skills as part of the musical cast.

In 2020 Bianka received an Australian Arts Council Government Grant for her new work "401 Blood on Pointe" as part of her "Das Suizide Projekt", an outreach dance program that looks at dealing with Suicide Prevention through movement and dance.

Bianka enjoys using her abilities and creativity in dance to impart a positive message, taking the artform beyond performance and using her body and dance as a voice for change in society.

In her free time Bianka likes to meditate, practice Reiki (different healing modalities) and travel the globe making people smile 😊
